History of the Company:
Arizona Capacitors, LLC, a manufacturer of wound film capacitors, was recently acquired by Electro Technik Industries, Inc. of Largo, Florida and now operates as Arizona Capacitors, Inc. Electro Technik is a holding company which operates various subsidiaries in the passive electronic components industry including: magnetics, microwave, resistors, and now the wound film capacitors.
Prior to this, Arizona Capacitors, LLC acquired Goguen Industries of Arizona on December 31, 2002. Arizona Capacitors was formerly the West Cap of Arizona division of San Fernando Electric Company and was originally founded in 1952. It has been in its present location since 1990 and operated for nearly thirty years in the West Cap property in Tucson.
The Tucson, Arizona facility is located on two acres and occupies over 10,800 square feet of manufacturing and office space. They are located less than one mile from the Tucson International Airport and have very competitive labor rates and a well trained, quality conscious work force. Some of their wound film capacitor and electronic filter drawings for military and private industry components date back as far as the 1950’s, but while they are pround of their past they are constantly working on developing new products for the future.

Arizona Capacitors designs and manufactures all types of wound film capacitors including mylar, Teflon, polyester, polystyrene, and polypropylene film capacitors. They not only build custom film capacitors, but offer a line of standard film capacitors, as well. Arizona Capacitors also manufactures oil filled and hermetically sealed film capacitors.
